On February, 18 in 2010 the regional trilateral seminar, organized by the office of IBL in Ukraine on the theme: «Assistance to the freedom of associations and effective realization  of right to conduct the collective bargaining» took place with participation of representatives of National Co-ordinator of IBL in Ukraine, Zhytomyr regional state administration, associations of organizations of employers and organizations of trade unions, secretariat of National Tripartite Social Economic Council under the President of Ukraine and members of territorial Social Economic Councils, other institutions and organizations.

The participants of seminar were informed about the international labour standards in relation to the right on creation of trade unions and organizations of employers and organization of collective bargaining, about the current situation in legislation in relation to the freedom of associations and collective bargaining, including  existent obstacles and problems.

By representative of Confederation N. Gosteva in her report it was notified the experience of national associations of organizations of employers in consolidation, positive and negative practice of application of fundamental conventions of ILO, related to high level of regulation by state and violations in the context of not creation of mechanisms for collective bargaining by the State.  Also there were mentioned instruments and mechanisms due to which in the future it will be succeeded to prevent the violations of application of norms of ILO’s conventions.
