The organization is created on 18th of October 2001.
Currently the association is composed by the legal entities that are working in the sphere of production of the medicines, whole and retail sales of the medicines. In total the number of enterprises amount to 140 companies that produce enterprises and 22790 pharmacies.
The association is composed of:
- Association of the pharmaceutical factories of Ukraine
- All Ukrainian association of pharmacies
- All Ukrainian Association of producers and distributors of the medical and microbiology industry of Ukraine
- Pharmaceutical Association of Ukraine
- Association of pharmaceutical producers of Ukraine
In total number of the employees that work in the pharmaceutical industry amount to 300 000 persons.
