Complex of antirecessionary measures
Confederation of Employers of Ukraine developed a complex of antirecessionary measures which would facilitate preservation of work places and allow to diminish workload upon employer in crisis conditions.

Draft Law on National Qualifications System was presented
On November 20, 2008 international seminar “Development of qualifications in Ukraine” took place in Kyiv. During the seminar draft law of Ukraine on National Qualifications System, that had been developed by the specialists of Confederation of Employers of Ukraine and by national experts of ETF in the framework of realization of the European Training Foundation's project on development of National Qualifications Frameworks was presented to the participants.

The Ukrainian Federation of Employers in sphere of Tourism was registered on January 30, 2008.
Association includes 14 oblasts employers’ organizations. The number of workers on which Federation’s activity is spread is more than 95 thousand people.
The aim of Federation’s activity is representation and protection of its members’ interests for creation of highly profitable tourist, hotel and treatment at a health branches, called to ensure needs of internal and international tourism subject to natural and climatic, recreation, socio-economic and historic and cultural potential of Ukraine’s regions and their peculiarities.
The main tasks of Federation are realization of actions for Ukrainian tourist, hotel and treatment at a health business’ entry into worldwide market of tourist services that will correspond to the due level of comfort ability for tourist and vacationers, implementation of system of world service standards, security guarantees including:
- creation of new working places and professional training of people employed in this sphere;
- general improvement of services’ quality;
- creation of favorable investment climate;
- development of national and regional branch-wise programs;
- promotion for creation of business balanced competition;
- preparation and development of draft laws and subordinate regulatory acts in sphere of tourism;
- dialogue and cooperation with public and local authorities of all levels as well as with trade unions;
- collaboration with international organizations in sphere of tourism, hotel and treatment at a health business.
