Confederation of employers of Ukraine jointly with the national experts of the European Training Foundation (European commission) developed the project of Conception of the National system of qualifications. All interested persons and organizations are invited to send to Confederation their remarks and suggestions for the project of Conception which will be worked out and taken into account during preparation of final formulation

The development of economy requires the creation of the model of the professional education and training that will ensure the preparation of the qualified personnel that will work in the dynamically changing labor market environment and in increasing requirements to its qualification of the labor force.
The shift to the information society requires both the increase of the communicative an information competence of the person and the increase of the professional mobility of employees, increase of the role of human capital.
The issue of the preparation of the qualified personnel in the system of professional education and training, increase of prestige of the working professions in Ukraine is not only a question of the labor resources that are necessary for the innovative post industrial development of the state, but also a question of the national security of the state.
The Confederation of Employers of Ukraine considers it necessary to adjust the system of the education and training to the contemporary challenges. At the same time the Confederation believes that the reform should be implemented by joint efforts of the state, society and business with application of international experience and national peculiarities. The Confederation believes that this is crucially important for the development of competitive and innovative national economy, which will be based on the knowledge in accordance with Lisbon Strategy and within a framework of the implementation of the tasks of the Copenhagen Process.
