Ukrainian National Committee of International Chamber of Commerce (hereafter - UNC ICC) is a representative office of the World Organization of Business in Ukraine.
UNC ICC realizes the strategy of International Chamber of Commerce that strives for promoting relations and constructive cooperation among National Committees of ICC and businesslike co-operation between partners of other countries.
On 23 November 2007 Confederation of Employers of Ukraine and UNC ICC signed an agreement on cooperation. The necessity of signing of such agreement was provoked by allegation of principle functions division among two organizations that represent the same interests in different but mutually complementary spheres; and their main aim is the support and protection of independent entrepreneurship on the international and national arenas.
The competence of UNC ICC includes issues concerning interpretation of rules and ethics of international business conducting as well as protection of interests of national producers on foreign markets.
The aim of UNC ICC is the lobbying of Ukrainian producer on the world market and facilitating for foreign partners’ going out into Ukrainian market through investment, cooperation of production and common development of economic space of the third countries. There are 11 profile commissions in UNC ICC that correspond to the structure of International Chamber of Commerce.
